STI Testing and Treatment

Free, confidential testing and treatment for chlamydia and gonorrhea at The Well Clinic. A simple urine test. Appointments are encouraged.

Worried about a sexually transmitted infection (STI), also called a sexually transmitted disease (STD)? The Well Clinic offers testing and treatment for limited STIs, free and confidential. Appointments are encouraged for this service, so make an appointment or call (573) 644-6635 or text (573) 645-3848.

Which STIs do you test for?

  • Chlamydia
  • Gonorrhea

How do you test?

After the RN has collected some medical history and sexual behavior history, the client is asked to provide a small urine sample. For best results, the client should not have emptied their bladder within the last hour.

What happens next?

The urine sample is sent to the lab and results are returned to The Well Clinic in approximately 3 days. These results are then relayed to the client. If either test is positive, the client is scheduled to return to The Well Clinic to receive treatment.
