These terms and conditions apply to your use of all of the sites and services owned or operated by The Well Clinic (formerly Pregnancy Help Center of Central Missouri), and affiliated organizations and any other site that we have owned or operated, do own and operate or may own or operate in the future (collectively, the “Sites”).

General Guidelines

Every reasonable attempt is made for accuracy, but some information specified in or accessible through the Sites is compiled or produced by someone other than and beyond the control of our staff and may not be fully complete or accurate. Consequently, we cannot and do not endorse or represent the reliability or accuracy of all of the content or information distributed through or accessed from the Sites. You hereby agree that your reliance upon any content or information distributed through or accessed from the Sites is at your sole risk.

Links

These terms and conditions apply only to our Sites, and not to the sites of any other companies or organizations, including those to which any of the Sites may link. We are not responsible for the availability of any other site to which any of the Sites links. We do not endorse or take responsibility for the contents, advertising, products or other materials made available through any other site. We are not responsible for the content of any sites which may be linked to our Sites. These links are provided for your convenience only and you access them at your own risk.

Copyright

We respect the intellectual property rights of others, and require that the people who use the Sites do the same. In appropriate circumstances, we will block access for any user who engages in any activity which may infringe on the intellectual property rights of others, including copyrights. All text, graphics, video, source code, and editorial content on Sites are proprietary to our organization. These materials are protected by U.S. copyright and, except those items acknowledged as proprietary to others, may not be used, copied, transmitted, or reproduced in whole or in part without the express written consent of our organization. Some of the information available on the Sites concerns the topic of sex and may not be appropriate for children. Further, the Sites are not directed to children under the age of 13 and we will not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. Privacy Policy

We are committed to protecting the privacy of everyone who uses thewellclinic.org. This policy explains what information we collect through the website, how we use it, who we share it with and the choices you have. Our Notice of Privacy Practices explains how we protect your health information when you receive services at The Well Clinic.

Information you give us

When you request an appointment, send us a message or otherwise contact us through the website, we collect the information you choose to share. This can include your name, phone number, email address, how you prefer to be contacted, a preferred appointment day and time, the services you are asking about, and your message. Please share only what you are comfortable sending through a web form; we can talk about the details in person.

If you call us at (573) 644-6635 or text us at (573) 645-3848, we use your phone number only to respond to you and to arrange your visit.

How we use your information

We use the information you give us to respond to you, to schedule and provide the services you ask for, and to improve our website and services. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.

Forms and email

When you submit a form on this website, the information you enter is sent to our staff by email through a third-party email delivery service (Resend). Only staff who need it to respond to you have access to these messages.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the website, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, device type and the pages you request, to deliver the website and keep it secure.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

With your consent, we use:

  • Google Analytics, to understand how visitors find and use the website;
  • Google advertising features, which may use cookies to show our ads to you on other websites;
  • Microsoft Clarity, which records how visitors interact with our pages, such as clicks and scrolling, so we can improve the website. Clarity is set to hide what you type into form fields.

These tools load only after you click Accept on the cookie banner. If you click Decline, none of them load. Your choice is saved in your browser, and you can change it at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. You can also opt out of personalized advertising at adssettings.google.com (opens in a new tab), and learn more in the Google (opens in a new tab) and Microsoft (opens in a new tab) privacy statements.

Error monitoring

If a page fails to work correctly in your browser, the website sends a technical error report (the error message, the page address and your browser type) to our error monitoring service, GlitchTip, so we can fix the problem. Error reports do not include what you type into our forms and are not used to identify you.

Do Not Track

There is no common standard for responding to browser “Do Not Track” signals, so the website does not respond to them. Analytics and advertising tools load only if you accept them on the cookie banner.

Who we share information with

We share information only:

  • with service providers that work on our behalf to run the website and our services, such as website hosting, email delivery, analytics and error monitoring;
  • when required by law, such as to comply with a court order or legal process;
  • when needed to protect the rights, property or safety of our clients, staff, visitors or others.

We may also share de-identified or aggregated information that does not identify you, such as overall website traffic reports.

How long we keep information

We keep the information you send us only as long as we need it to respond to you and provide services, or as long as the law or our record-keeping practices require. Analytics information is kept according to our settings with those providers.

Security

Information you send through the website is encrypted in transit (SSL). Access to personal information is limited to staff who need it to do their work. No method of sending or storing information over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

  • You can accept or decline analytics and advertising cookies at any time with the Cookie settings link.
  • You can set your browser to block or delete cookies.

Miscellaneous

These Terms of Use and Privacy Policy are governed by the laws of the United States of America and the State of Missouri, without regard to conflict-of-laws provisions. If any part is found unlawful, void or unenforceable, that part is severable and does not affect the rest.
