The Well Clinic is a free pregnancy help clinic in Jefferson City, Missouri. We were formerly Pregnancy Help Center of Central Missouri, and we are the same caring people you may already know. Read about our new name.

What we do

Everything we offer is free and confidential. No insurance and no payment, ever. You’ll find:

• Pregnancy testing and ultrasound
• Personalized consultations about your options
• Counseling with licensed professional counselors
• Testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections
• Abortion pill reversal and after-abortion support
• Classes, referrals and material items

Our medical team

Our services are provided by a licensed medical team under the direction of our Medical Director, Dr. Lorraine Dodson. Registered nurses perform ultrasounds, and our Medical Director reviews the images.

Care without pressure

We offer faith-based care, and we never pressure anyone. You will get honest, medically accurate information about every option and a warm welcome, whatever your age, background or beliefs. We do not perform or refer for abortions.

Our story

A group of dedicated men and women came together in 2011 to start Pregnancy Help Center of Central Missouri. The center opened its doors on March 12, 2012, and has grown ever since: a mobile unit in 2018 to bring pregnancy tests and ultrasounds to surrounding communities, a sexual risk avoidance education program for youth in 2019, and in 2020 a building of our own at 1433 Southwest Boulevard, where we serve you today.
